People at risk - Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Studies are being going on finding the factors that increase the risk of being affected with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). Some statistics, yielding from the studies or researches so far have been done, can help indicate who are at risk for CFS more than others. Some studies show that though either male or female can develop the disease, females are four times more prone to chronic fatigue syndrome. Another study shows that though people of all ages can be attacked with CFS, people at their age between 40 and 50 are most vulnerable to CFS attack. Some studies reveal that CFS is more prevalent in adults than in younger children. Studies also say that though some of the members of same family have developed CFS, it can’t be said that it’s contagious, rather it may be caused by a familial or genetic link. Finally through studies it has been evident that CFS occurs in all ethnic or racial groups, and in almost all the countries across the world. So nobody is out of its reach.
