What you can do to relieve yuppie flu

Known to be one of the top diseases of yuppies, “yuppie flu” or chronic fatigue syndrome still has no specific treatment regimen. For one, the illness is not yet fully understood, that is why it is impossible to establish a treatment regimen. The most that healthcare professionals can do is to manage the symptoms.
If you are suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome, you can help yourself by limiting the activities that you do everyday. The rule is simple: When you’re tired, rest. However, do not make it a habit to laze around without doing anything; it will only make you feel weaker. Therefore, create a balance in your daily activities, and make sure you have ample rest time.
Cognitive behavior therapy can also help you identify and stop your negative behaviors, and focus on the positive ones. If you’re feeling pain, you can take over-the-counter medications like aspirin, acetaminophen, and ibuprofen.
