The Buddy System

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would have a friend with “chronic fatigue syndrome”. I didn’t really pay close enough attention to the mood swings, but I really should have. It was more of the psychological symptoms, but they were still enough to make me worry. I noticed her mood changing constantly. One minute she was as happy as ever and the next she was mad at the world. Some days she seemed very anxious about everything. Other days she seemed like a whole different person all together (almost like she was two completely different people). The more I noticed these changes the more worried I got and even though it was practically a risk to our friendship, I had to say something. I had to make sure she was ok. I sat her down on one of her good days and really talked it out with her and offered to go to the doctor with her as well. Tomorrow Is the doctors appointment and she seems happy that someone, besides herself, realized her change.
