Taking it seriously

Even though fibromyalgia is considered a controversial diagnosis, it should be taken very seriously. Those affected by this condition have limited to severe pain spread throughout their entire body. It is easy to see why some feel that this condition could be somewhat of a “mental” incapability. Those who are suffering from this condition will often tell you that they feel that people overlook there problem as a medical condition simply because they believe no one can have that amount of severe pain and not have a reasonable explanation such as a cut, or a bruise. We should not completely dismiss this condition as being “all in a persons mind”. For them, the pain is very real and sometimes not even medical treatments might help. So be a little more considerate and sympathetic towards the situation and take the time to really listen to whoever may tell you they have this condition.

No matter how much the doctor

No matter how much the doctor wants to be rude about, fight back! It is your money, and your are the customer!!! I can not stress this enough!!! If you are in any pain, and with FM you are in SERIOUS pain(!!!) than your inflammation is up and your blood levels will show this, between this and the "trigger points" that is enough for a dignosis. (sometimes unfortuanely, and I only say that because I think too many people are getting this diagnosis and too many doctors are not digging deep enough now).
