Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)- Do you know what it means?

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)- How far you are familiar with? Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is a far more severe condition than a regular fatigue. It is a complicated disorder marked by extreme fatigue that does not recover by even complete bed rest and may worsen through further physical or mental activity. Although CFS is one of the most mysterious of all chronic illnesses, the symptoms of it can be identified by the followings, where at least four of the following remain simultaneously prevalent for six months:

1. Forgetting things or feeling difficulties in focusing
2. Feeling tired even after sleeping
3. Muscle pain or aches
4. Pain or aches in joints without swelling or redness
5. Feeling discomfort for more than 24 hours after being active
6. Headaches of a new type, pattern or strength
7. Tender lymph nodes in the neck or under the arm
8. Sore throat

In the worse cases, people with chronic fatigue syndrome can suffer from various cardiac and respiratory troubles, and usually have very little stamina to handle life's challenges.
