Here is what I think Fibromyalgia is

Fibromyalgia is defined as a chronic condition and is characterized by muscle pain in many areas of the body including the tender points. Tender points are some areas in the neck, back, legs and arms. The most common syndromes that are caused by this chronic condition are: headaches, morning stiffness, unstable sleep, and thinking and memorizing troubles.

Bottom line is that Fibromyalgia makes you feel tired, exhausted and hurt. Everyone can get this condition; however, it is more likely to be found in women. This condition does not, in any case, progress but it is more likely to stay with the sufferer forever. But certain treatments are able to help lessen the pain and the suffering.

It is worth mentioning that the reason why this condition is started is still unknown. It is common -when you have this condition- that after having multiple tests, your doctor still would not find out what is wrong with you.

Sleeping well and exercising can help you a great deal get over your pain.

Hi! You forgot to mention

Hi! You forgot to mention pain while sleeping. I constantly wake up with that throbbing feeling in my thigh. And for me it has started on the left side. Before it was mainly on my right side.

How much do you exercise? I have just started (walking on a treadmill) and am doing 15 minutes a day. This is the second day for me. I wonder how long it takes before you can see some relief in the pain? Do you know?
