Signs and Symptoms of Fibromyalgia

Generally Fibromyalgia is attendant with weakness, pain in muscle and soft fibrous tissues like ligament and tendon. These symptoms being coincided with the symptoms of chronic fatigue or with the symptoms of many other physical disorder make it difficult to identify fibromyalgia. However in case of fibromyalgia, the pain tends to be chronic and widespread. The symptoms of fibromyalgia may include chest pain, sleep disorder, anxiety, depression, abdominal difficulties, cognitive dysfunction or poor memory, difficulties with swallowing or breathing, problems in bowel functions ( such as diarrhea or constipation) and bladder functions, diffuse sensations of numbness and tingling, and so on. Some people affected with fibromyalgia may experience vision problems, nausea and dizziness, weight gain, chronic headaches, skin problems and the like. Some Patients with fibromyalgia feel ache all over their body. They also feel that their muscles have been or are being pulled or overworked. Sometimes the patients feel burning sensations in the areas of pain. However the signs and symptoms differs extensively from one person to another person. Some people experience only a few of the symptoms, and some people a lot of.
