The telltale signs of Fibromyalgia
Doctors today test patients to see if they feel pain in at least 11 out of 18 spots in the body where it would commonly ache when one has fibromyalgia. These are usually in the neck, shoulder, chest, hip, knee, and elbow areas. A small amount of pressure is applied on this areas to see if the person complains. Some patients though may be diagnosed with fibromyalgia even if they ache in less than 11 of those test spots. Other symptoms that appear in patients with fibromyalgia are constant fatigue, feeling tired from sleeping, migraines, irritable bowel syndrome, and dizziness among others.
