Sometimes I feel that I can not stand the pain. I try to push thru the pain and it seems to get worse not better. Also the tylonal does not always work, but I'm to imbarressed to go to the hospital for help because I'm afraid of being judged.

You should not at all be

You should not at all be embarrassed. This is a medical condition that any medical professional should understand.

What other methods other than Tylenol have you used to ease the pain?

Have you ever tried any holistic approaches?

Yes, I know what you mean

Yes, I know what you mean about the hospital, they think you are there in search of drugs. Due to the fact there are no tests (blood, urine, xrays) to confirm fibromyalgia. I went thru so many test, I was fortunate to have a great dr who knew me well enough not to stop looking she knew me and knew there was something wrong just my looking at the changes in me. After seeing a rhemetologist he diagnosed me with fibro, and put me on Arthrotect. It wasnt the first drug however. I tried several that made me sick at first but finally this seemed to help. So I take Arthrotect during the day and Lyrica at night (because it makes me sleepy). But after awhile the pain started to get more intense even with the above drugs which are non-addictive pain killers and NSAIDS. Im scared to take anything stronger because I dont want to become addicted, my PCP gave me Lurcet which are addictive and knock me on my butt, but I keep them handy for those days I just cant handle it anymore, I break them up into 4ths and take just a piece here and there throughout the day as needed. It seems to work for me....Ive sorta got my own recipe going...thought Id share it with you. Im not sure if all the other things Im on help or not in a way due to the Epilepsy, CFS, and depression meds I take. But Im finally sleeping painlessly. Good luck to you.
