Hi RDT,
If you are unable to tolerate most medications, you are left with treatments that are more holistic in nature. I don't know how you feel about alternative treatments, but they are effective for some people. You may want to consider:
Accupuncture
Massage
Heat/Cold Therapy
Relaxation Exercises
Swimming
Yoga
Tai Chi
Some people get good pain relief from using natural herbal remedies. You may find you tolerate some of these better than prescribed medications if you are very sensitive to traditional medications.
If you look at the left menu bar, you will see a Treatment section. Under this section is a subsection labeled "natural", where some common herbal remedies are described. They may be worth a try! Do some research and see if any of these may be helpful for your symptoms. Remember, before using any herbal remedies you should discuss them with your physician, especially if you take other medications.
Good luck!
