About Me

Bio

I have been married for 3 1/2 years, together for almost 6 years with 4 children. After 8 months of painful paresthesia, extreme fatigue, morning stiffness and odd pains in my neck and spine.... I was referred to a neurologist from my PCP where all tests, MRI's, EMG's, and lab work has been normal. My PCP then after another discussion regarding my symptoms and I was keepig a diary of it all, diagnosed me w/fibromyalgia about 2-3 months ago, also based on my extreme tenderness and the response I had taking Lyrica on a trial basis (which I am no longer taking due to my insurance not covering so I have been switched to gabapentin that isnt that great). I work full time in the medical billing feild and my husband and I are also self-employed. With busy schedules and raising kids my energy level sucks and my stress level is high. I am just looking to talk with others that understand and are in my shoes (so to speak) and are going through the same trials and tribulations as I am with this syndrome and every day life :)
